  37. The main Linux-ARM code relies on the use of the memory manager in the 
  38. ARM 6x0,7x0,8xx,9xx and StrongARM - so the simple answer is no - it wont
  39. run on a 7TDMI core.
  40. I seem to remember someone was trying to do a Linux port to processors

  42. memory managers (other than the ELKS port which I thuink took advantage of
  43. the x86's segmentation); I have a vague memory of a 68K port - but can't
  44. remember where I saw it.

  46. Its only the memory memory (and a suitable lump of memory) that you need
  47. for Linux; a file system is very useful as well :-)
